Located just off Barcelona’s prestigious Passeig de Gràcia Boulevard, this luxury hotel offers city views from its rooftop pool. It also has a unique art collection and courtesy Smart cars. Built in a converted 19th century palace, the Claris G.L. has over 400 original pieces of art on display and offers free entry to the Barcelona Egyptian Museum, located next door. The smart, soundproofed bedrooms feature stylish décor and hand-made furniture. Each one comes with LCD satellite TV, sofa and pieces of Roman, Egyptian and Hindu artwork. The hotel’s Terraza del Claris Restaurant serves gourmet Mediterranean food on the roof terrace. There is also a tapas bar serving snacks and drinks. The Claris is just 5 minutes’ walk from Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The Ramblas is around 10 minutes’ walk away.
